Synopsis: This police drama follows the events of the first day on the job of a rookie cop (Ethan Hawke) working in the Los Angeles Police Department's undercover narcotics unit. His partner is Alonzo (Denzel Washington), a corrupt veteran officer. Hip-hop artist Dr. Dre, in an ironic turn, also plays an LAPD cop.
