Synopsis: Based on Oscar Wilde's famous comedy of manners, two young gents living in 1890's England -- Worthing (Colin Firth) and Montcrieff (Rupert Everett) -- add excitement to their lives by "Earnestly" bending the truth. Their deceptions are soon uncovered, though, when they end up together in the country with would-be lovers Cecily (Reese Witherspoon) and Gwendolyn (Frances O'Connor).
